Now days the Electronics & Instrumentation Industries and R&D organizations have become the potential sources of employment for Technical and Science graduates and post graduates not only in India but also abroad. To cope with these emerging areas Acharya Nagarjuna University has established the Department of electronics & Instrumentation technology in 2002 to offer postgraduates and research programs in the field of Electronics & Instrumentation Technology. The aim of these programs is to provide the necessary theoretical background and practical experience to cater to the needs of R&D organizations and industries. To meet the ever growing demands of the industry, the course curriculum has been designed in collaborations with Industries.
The Students joined in this course will be expressed required training in the industry or R&D organizations through their three months project work in collaboration with industries and R&D organizations.

Research Activities |

The Department offers research in various fields namely Liquid Crystals, Fiber Optics and Spectroscopy. At present the research is doing in the area of Polymer science & Technology.

Academic Achievements |

1) The Department was conducted a workshop on Embedded Systems in association with TechnoXian and IIT Delhi during the period of 18&19th March 2015.
2) A National Seminar was Organized namely National Seminar on Advances in Materials Science (NSAMS-15) during the period of 25&26th November 2015
