| Profile
Department of Rural Development has been established during 1992-93 academic year. It offers M.A Rual Development, M.Phil and Ph.D research Programmes. It is a field work oriented programme. All the students had to go to field work once in a week. Department had organized awareness camps in the selected villages to disseminate rural development programmes among the villagers. Department had organized National/ International / Workshops on various themes of Rural Development.

| Apart from producing M.Phil / Ph.D?s Department has undertaken Majar Research Projects and Minor Research Projects with the financial Assistance of DRDA, Guntur and UGC ICSSR New Delhi, Faculty has provided consultancy services to NGO?s in imparting training to the staff. It also organized awareness camps to disseminate information an rural development programmes in the selected villages. Faculty members of rural development has participated in the National and International seminars across the country and abroad and presented various papers on rural development Faculty has also chaired the technical sessions in the National and International seminars and also delivered invited Talks. |
