Vice-President of Indian Association for Canadian Studies; Life Member of the Dravidian Linguistics Association, Trivandrum, and Systemic Functional Linguistics Association, Hyderabad. Holder of a P.G. Diploma in the Teaching of English (PGDTE) from the CIEFL, Hyderabad. Received the following awards: Sri Pinnamaneni Varalakshmi Memorial Gold Medal Award in B.A. in 1982 from Andhra University; B. Krishna Murthy Endowment Prize for Best Participant in 1989 from CIEFL, Hyderabad; Puraskar for Best Woman Teacher by KVR Educational Trust, Guntur, 2014; and Best Teacher Award- Subject Category Humanities by AP State Government, 2016 and several other best research paper awards. Organized 3 International Conferences and 6 Personal Contact programmes (10 days), and 3 Train the Trainer programmes (5 days). Visited Australia and Singapore for attending Conferences. |
