Profile of the Centre:
Acharya
Nagarjuna University has entered into an MOU (Memorandum of
Undertaking) with the
’Department of Scientific&
Industrial Research (DSIR – Govt. of India) to launch ‘Technopreneur Promotion Program’ through its TePP Outreach
Centre with effect from 2007.
The main objective of the program is to
encourage innovations by funding innovators to develop them into
entrepreneurs. The
ANU – TePP Outreach Centre
has successfully performed its duties during the last
five years and
arranged
DSIR – Financial support
to a tune of
1.57 crores of rupees
to
fifteen (15)
innovators.
The erstwhile
TePP Outreach Centre has been renamed as ‘TePP Outreach cum Cluster
Innovation Centre (TOCIC) -
ANU’ to implement ‘PRISM
(Promoting Innovations in Individuals, Start-ups
and MSMEs)
– Program’ by
DSIR – New Delhi,
during
XII Plan period.
On-going projects:
The following three innovative proposals processed by ANU-TOCIC have been approved for funding by DSIR, during 2015 – 2016, under PRISM scheme.
