Established in the year 2009, the department of Civil Engineering offers B.Tech., with an intake of 60 students. The curriculum in B.Tech degree covers core specializations of Structural Engineering, Hydraulics & Water Resources Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Surveying & Engineering Geology.
The department has computer software?s like STAAD, AUTOCAD and ESTIMATION Software. Postgraduate courses were started in 2013 with an intake of 18 students, with specialization in Structural Engg., as evening batch for the benefit of employers. Teaching Learning Process is centred on imparting not only technical skills in the subject but also soft skills so as to enable students to achieve holistic personality. | All the faculty members are registered for P.hD, faculty level workshops and staff development activities on research-related issues have been organized with the support of UGC. Students of Civil Engineering got many academic prizes in University examinations and also many students have qualified for GATE, CAT and Gre examinations. |
