The department of Mechanical Engineering distinguishes itself by producing competent Engineers that fit into today?s requirement, with little training. Apart from the prescribed curricular programme, the students are provided with Lateral knowledge and skills by organizing need based programmes conducted by professional training organizations. The Department has several labs to inculcate practical knowledge to students of Mechanical Engineering like Workshop, Machine shop, Foundry, Advanced Material Testing labs, IC Engines and Heat Transfers Lab.
